Not many businesses have over one hundred years of history, so we are understandably proud of our heritage, but we are just as excited about where we are now and our plans for the next generation of partners and staff. Firth Parish has been located in West Yorkshire since the 1920s, providing professional accounting services to businesses across the UK.

Although the world of business has changed significantly in the last century, our core values have remained unaltered. We believe in providing sound, relevant advice and high-quality services, as well as investing in our people so we can continue supporting our clients for generations to come.

Our clients

Our clients range from private clients, property investors and owner-managed businesses to multi-million turnover companies and UK branches of international organisations.
One of our longest-standing clients has been with us since 1957, and we have supported many businesses for multiple generations. No matter how long a client has been with us or how long they've been in business, they all get the same personal service and expert advice.

Our approach

Everything we do is tailored to the needs of each individual client. We work around what works for you, while providing proactive advice based on your business and personal plans.
We offer a wide range of services, including advising on how your tax affairs can be dealt with in the most tax-efficient manner, assisting with legal regulations, power of attorney, will writing and inheritance tax planning.

Our people

Our team is close-knit with a wide range of experience. Some of our accountants started here as graduates, others have worked for various sized firms, and some have transitioned to us from industry.
Working alongside our team of qualified accountants are our skilled accounts and tax technicians, payroll administrators and company secretarial team.

We recognise the importance of investing in people

We recognise the importance of investing in people and are an authorised training office for both the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW) and the Association of Certified Chartered Accountants (ACCA).

We also invest in external training and development, allowing us to offer specialist advice to our clients and helping our team members achieve their career goals.

Looking forward

One of the reasons that Firth Parish has outlasted so many other firms is that we are always planning for the future and building long term relationships with our clients. Our plan is to keep growing our team with a mixture of new and experienced colleagues. We will continue sharing knowledge from partner to partner and welcoming fresh ideas and perspectives so we can keep supporting our clients for the next hundred years and beyond.
